PHP Biotech to Present Nanobody Panel and Sponsor 3rd Annual Oncology Venture, Innovation & Partnering Summit

The Summit takes place October 19–20, 2026, at the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and brings together senior pharma executives, Private Equity investors, oncology clinicians and researchers, along with other industry leaders focused on oncology innovation and partnering. The agenda includes a keynote address with the subject “Undruggable” Targets to Transformative Medicines: The Journey to Bring a Novel Therapeutic Modality to Patients.
At 4:10 PM on October 19th, PHP Biotech will lead a 20-minute panel titled "Beyond the Undruggable:" What if Nanobodies Redefine the Future of Cancer Therapy? The panel will introduce PHP Biotech’s proprietary platform, with PHP53-nb as a proof of concept and the first product developed using this platform, highlighting its selective effect on tumor cells, enhanced biodistribution and potential to open new theragnostic possibilities in oncology. Robert Gahagen, Chief Executive Officer of PHP Biotech, will moderate the panel and introduce Patrícia Bezerra, the company's scientific leader and head of research and development. At 5:00 PM at the end of the first day there will be a Welcome Networking Reception sponsored by PHP Biotech for all participants to meet and discuss the various topics presented during the panels throughout the day.
In addition to the panel, PHP Biotech is sponsoring an onsite reception later in the day, giving attendees an informal setting to meet the company's team. On October 20 at 10:15 AM, the company will host a roundtable discussion, a moderated question-and-answer forum where interested parties can speak with PHP Biotech's scientific experts in greater depth than the panel format allows.

Joining Gahagen and Bezerra at the Summit will be Moacyr Bighetti, Founder and Chairman; Dr. Eduardo Braun, oncologist and Board Member; Prof. Marcelo Baruffi, PhD, nanobody scientist; and Dr. Fabio Jung, oncologist and Partner at Synchro. Together, the group brings leadership, research, and clinical oncology perspectives to the company's discussions at the event.
The presentation will focus on GEN01-AD, PHP Biotech's proprietary intracellular nanobody platform, which integrates therapeutic functionality directly into humanized nanobodies to reach targets beyond the cell surface. Its first proof of concept, PHP53-nb, is designed to enter tumor cells and restore the function of the p53 protein, a key regulator associated with several aggressive cancers. The company reports three therapeutic assets and four U.S. patent applications to date.
